Williamstown Superules – Mental Health Awareness Round
For Round 7 on 30th June 2019, The Williamstown Superules Football Club will be having a special Mental Health Awareness Round of Football. On this day we will be working with an organisation called Outside The Locker Room. Outside The Locker Room Foundation is a non-for profit organisation that is dedicated to supporting sporting clubs, schools and work places for their welfare and education requirements across Australia. They focusing on areas such as mental health, drugs, alcohol, gambling and domestic violence our program educates and brings awareness to these topics.
All of our men’s and women’s team playing over the weekend either at home or away will be wearing special jumpers donning their logo. After each of the games ‘Outside The Locker Room’ Medals will be awarded to the best on ground players from both sides. In addition to this we will be taking donations to support the great work that OTLR do. All proceeds from the sale of the players jumpers and money collected will go to this great cause.
